Challenge: Given full responsibility for redesigning the 3 product surveys within a tight 2-day deadline.
Process: Conducted research on potential survey platforms, moving away from Google Forms which previously required a minimum of 15 minutes to complete due to repetitive actions, a rigid user interface, and limited to multiple-choice responses. Narrowed down choices to Survey Monkey and Qualtrics based on pricing and features, Qualtrics was selected for its cost-efficiency and flexible features, such as sliding bars and dropdown menus, as illustrated in the screenshots below. Time usage optimized to less than 5 minutes.
Initiated with a pilot redesign of one product survey, followed by a review with the company's COO. In-house prototype testing provided valuable feedback, particularly on the inclusion of an "unsure" button and the use of sliding bars. Following approval, the remaining two surveys underwent a similar redesign process, incorporating detailed refinements like emoji integration and keyword adjustments based on insights from the initial survey.
Solution: Successfully delivered an enhanced survey experience for all 3 products, executed across 2 facilities and survey responses from over 150 users.
